With art serving as a self-soothing tool, another motif I've found in my work has been the obvious re-creation of aesthetic trends that existed when I entered the world.
This collection consists of photos taken (by me or of me) of either symbols that remind me of my earliest delights or events that made me feel like I could get a taste of what it was to be someone my current age circa 1999. And for whatever reason, these sensations are strongest during summer.
Contains notes of : Utter silence, boredom, new friendships, high emotional stakes, ego, art for only fun, quick movement, colors, parties, snacks, embarrassment, cuteness, and many firsts.
