Congruence, to me, is a celebration of love as a reflection of the self in another. These images imagine partnership as a principle of nature beyond that of two people or animals who have claimed each other. They are my own iterations of reliance, proximity, something joining together with something else of its likeness, and welcoming external admiration of that.
